WINEMAKER NOTES

Our 2015 Estate Malbec pours a deep, glass-staining, purple black. Dark and dense aromatics of cedar, blackberry, and chocolate-coated cherry mingle with star anise, peppercorn and smoke.  A rich and chewy weight supports savory tobacco notes, black cherry, and cocoa dusted tannins. Enjoy this big, potent, and bold Malbec now through 2025.

WINEMAKER NOTES

Our Estate-raised 100% Cabernet Sauvignon tantalizes the olfactory senses with concentrated candied grape aromatics and black currant. As the wine opens, layers of sweet orange peel, herbes de Provence, and pencil lead provide unique complexity. On the palate, the wine begins wide and expansive, with juicy blackberry and cassis taking lead. Gently extracted tannins provide a dry, dusty sensation, while moderate acidity lends to an overall bright, lively, and mouth watering finish.

WINEMAKER NOTES

The premier of our 100% Clone 1 Tempranillo pours dark crimson with brilliant ruby highlights. To preserve varietal nuances, I carefully spiced the wine with 19% New American Oak. The aromatics are fresh and bright, with layers of dried Bing cherry, raspberry, loamy earth, and roasted coffee.  Medium in body, the middle is characterized by savory notes of smoked meats, mild olive brine, and ripe skin tannins. The finish is dry, lightly acidic, and boasts rich notes of minerals and soft smoke.
