WINEMAKER NOTES

Sourced entirely from the Walla Walla Valley and blended with 25% Rosé of Garnacha to enhance complexity and aromatic intensity. Harvested in the first days of September, and pressed after 6 hours of skin contact, resulted in a wine that is modestly pink, and refreshingly light on the palate. Aromas are bright and nuanced, characterized by strawberry, raspberry, and Cantaloupe melon The wine begins mildly fruity in the front, with a light, yet broadly weighted middle. The finish is marked by soft acidity in this refreshingly dry style of Rosé of Tempranillo.

The 2016 Columbia Valley Albariño brings together two vineyard sites, resulting in a blissfully aromatic wine with a supple and balanced backbone.  A nose of lemon peel and grapefruit is matched with banana, honeysuckle, and green apple.   The middle is medium in weight, with a crisp acidity that is balanced by a slight amount of residual sugar (0.3%). WINEMAKER NOTES

The 2014 vintage in the Columbia Valley was plentiful in heat, and we were rewarded with optimal ripeness of Malbec. This thick, dark skinned varietal (made famous in wine growing regions of Argentina and Chile) shines in our blend, with an added 10% Cabernet Sauvignon for backbone and structure. Juicy Marionberry preservers and plum blend seamlessly with nuances of mocha, tobacco and toasted vanilla. A supple and medium body carries plush tannins that balance the bold backbone of ripe fruits. We advise to keep your glass close, as a finish of ripe blackberry and mild acidity beckons the palate for another sip.

WINEMAKER NOTES

Our 2014 “Miercoles” Red Blend continues the tradition in crafting a unique “Wednesday” wine composed of a variety of grape varietals.  On first pour, tart raspberry, plum, and orange marmalade fill the bouquet. As the wine further aerates, the aroma evolves into soft smoke, olive brine, and black pepper. This fine dinner wine will accompany a variety of foods, with its light body, mild acidity, and dusty tannins. Why wait for Wednesday, when you can have this wine everyday?
